The X-8R Connect makes it possible to integrate 8 additional relay outputs into the universe of the IPX800 V5.

The X-8R Connect is a standalone device. Its functionalities are accessible via the use of an IPX800 V5 or V4 and/or from a smartphone. However, when it is alone, the X-8R Connect allows manual control of its outputs via physical switches in two modes: push button or simple contact.

When this module is connected to an X-PSU20 power supply, smart switching reduces current inrush during relay state changes.

Note 1: To operate with an IPX800 V4, an EBX Connect must be added because the X-8R Connect extension does not have an EBX terminal block. Indeed, the bus as well as the power supply pass through the RJ45 socket. The signals can be retrieved on terminal blocks using EBX Connect.

Note 2: The 8 inputs of the X8R cannot be integrated into the scenario engine of the IPX800 V4 & V5.
