Milesight VS121 is an AI sensor for the workplace, designed to monitor occupancy and usage in modern workspaces. Its AI algorithm enables it to achieve a recognition rate of up to 98%.

Based on the standard LoRaWAN® protocol, the VS121 can work with the Milesight LoRaWAN® gateway and leading LoRaWAN® network servers. It features Wi-Fi for easy, tool-free configuration.

Simple, convenient wireless deployment avoids network connection problems. The benefits of LoRa technologies include low power consumption, long-distance transmission and anonymous detection.

LoRaWAN's narrow bandwidth transmits data without any personally identifiable information, guaranteeing total protection of confidentiality at source.

By detecting the U-shaped trajectories of people flows, the sensor's accuracy is guaranteed to avoid unnecessary counting, filtering out redundant counts of people wandering around the area to eliminate those who don't actually enter the premises.

A zone of interest can be defined with up to four sides. People moving in different directions will be detected and counted, which is very useful for people flow analysis and statistics in sensitive areas, such as retail outlets, shopping centers, supermarkets etc.

Thanks to its precise pedestrian traffic monitoring capabilities, the VS121 offers invaluable information for improving management in a variety of businesses such as banks, retail stores and gyms, providing actionable insights for making informed decisions and optimizing operations.

The Milesight VS121 offers an ultra-wide field of view, enabling detection over large areas. Able to cover up to 127.8m² at a height of 4m with a single device, users can choose the version best suited to their specific needs, reducing the number of detection devices required and enabling cost reduction and improved efficiency.

Up to 16 customized regions can be defined for precise detection. Each region is independent. They can detect and trigger alarms individually, meeting specific application requirements and enabling optimum customization. In addition, scheduling can be defined for more flexible, customized performance.

Featuring bi-directional counting that supports the drawing of irregular lines, the sensor with an ultra-high 95% recognition rate achieves more accurate and informed people-counting data.

The exclusive Milesight LoRa® protocol enables the VS121 to communicate easily with other Milesight LoRaWAN® devices, without the need for network infrastructure, in just one second. Equipment such as lighting can be intelligently switched via the link, for fast, accurate and automatic responses, helping management staff to save energy.
