The Room Thermostat II measures the temperature where it is placed and transmits it to the radiator thermostats, ensuring more precise and efficient radiator control.

Keep an eye on air humidity

In addition to temperature, the digital Room Thermostat II measures the humidity in the room and sends you a visual alert if preset values are exceeded. This enables you to maintain a healthy room climate and helps prevent mold formation.

The LED light strip on the thermostat display :

• flashes blue when humidity exceeds 70% ;
• flashes yellow when humidity drops below 30%.

When values are normal, the display is off and the LEDs only light up when you press the button.

Thanks to its bracket, the intelligent room thermostat II can be installed wherever you like. It can also be simply screwed to the wall using the supplied gluing device.

You can control your device using the numerous heating control options offered by the Bosch Smart Home app, or simply manually by pressing and turning the buttons on the device. The actions performed are indicated by LED strips and a display that lights up automatically.

Operating principles

Automatic indoor climate optimization

Networking the room thermostat II with other intelligent devices via the Smart Home controller enables you to automatically optimize the indoor climate.

Using temperature and relative humidity readings, you can trigger automations based on the "if-then" principle. So, if the humidity is too high/low, you'll automatically receive a reminder to ventilate, or automatically start up integrated humidifiers or dehumidifiers via a connected socket.

• Humidifier automation: IF air humidity drops below 35%, THEN start the humidifier via the compact plug.

So you always have a healthy indoor climate.

Automate your roller shutters or fans in summer

While your radiator thermostats enjoy a summer break, your room temperature controller is with you all year round.

In fact, the Room Thermostat II also helps you combat excessively high temperatures. Here's what you can do with automation:

• Automate the light-blocking system: IF the ambient temperature exceeds 27°, THEN close the roller shutters via the roller shutter control to block out the light.
• Automate your fan: IF the ambient temperature exceeds 27°, ALORS starts the fan via the compact plug.

So you can enjoy ideal temperatures, summer and winter alike.

Place it in the perfect spot

Whether portable or wall-mounted, here are a few tips for positioning your Room Thermostat II in the best possible way:

• Preferred locations: in large rooms, prefer places where you spend time to place your room thermostat, such as the dining table, sofa or desk, rather than inaccessible nooks and crannies.
• In winter, interior walls rather than front walls: front walls are much colder in winter, which distorts the temperature measurement and may cause you to heat more than necessary.
• In summer, near a window: to know as early as possible when the sun is shining through the window and heating the room, place your room temperature controller preferably near a window. This will enable you to react as quickly as possible, thanks to the automation of roller shutters and fans.

Activate the childproof lock

To prevent your children from playing with the buttons, the child lock prevents manual operation of the room thermostat. This way, there's no risk of them upsetting anything, and you retain control of the room temperature via the app.

How to activate the childproof lock :

• Via the app: activate the room thermostat's child lock in the device settings on the app.
• On the device: press the system button for at least 3 seconds, then turn to activate child lock.
