Identical looks, but a smarter system: your Bosch Smart Home roller shutter control is simply mounted behind your existing wall knob*, without any additional adapters. This opens up a whole new range of possibilities for controlling your roller shutters, venetian blinds or electric awnings:

• through scenarios, by grouping together several shutters / devices

*When installed in a junction box, no buttons are required.

Free your emergency exits in the event of a smoke alarm

In a fire, every second counts: the priority is to get out of the house and to safety!

Your Smart Home's roller shutter control helps you escape in an emergency. It's part of the fire alarm system, a pre-configured service.

The roller shutters open automatically after a few seconds, as soon as your intelligent smoke detector sounds the alarm.

This provides emergency exits and access for the fire department to extinguish the flames, saving lives in the process.

Count on childproofing and protection functions

Open, close, open, close: for the little ones, roller shutter control at the touch of a button in the Smart Home system quickly becomes a fun game.

That's why the child-proof function in the application blocks manual use of the button.

Important notes and installation prerequisites

As a roller shutter control, the light/roller shutter control II can be used to control 230 V electric motors (switching current up to 2 A, cos Φ = 0.8).

Please note the following:

• The compact light/shutter control II measures 40.5 x 47 x 22 mm (H x W x D).
• For installation in flush-mounted boxes, a depth of at least 50 mm is required. For optimum installation, however, a minimum housing depth of 60 mm is recommended.
• To supply power to the light/shutter control II itself, a permanent power supply with conductor and neutral conductor is required.
• The roller shutter control may only be installed by a qualified professional.

Our wall switch allows you to install your Bosch Smart Home players in a space-saving way. Thanks to its installation flexibility, it's a complete solution that can either completely replace existing switches or be used in compatible switch series already in place. Its extra-flat design saves up to 15 mm compared with conventional switches.
