More info

The SpaceLogic KNX Universal Dimming Extender is an actuator that expands the channels of a SpaceLogic KNX Universal Dimming Master. The extension can switch and reduce up to 2 loads, such as:

  • incandescent and halogen lamps (resistive load)
  • low voltage halogen lamps with winding transformers with variation of intensity (inductive load)
  • low voltage halogen lamps with electronic transformers with variation of intensity (capacitive load)
  • Combination of resistive and inductive loads
  • Combination of resistive and capacitive loads
  • Dimmable ESL / CFL lamps
  • Dimmable LED lamps

Combinations of inductive and capacitive loads should not be connected to a single output.

All connected loads can be controlled manually using the buttons on the master, but this function can also be deactivated via the ETS.

Device status, such as channel status, readiness in operation or manual operation enabled, is indicated by several LEDs on the master device.

The master fully controls the extensions, their power supply and communication to the bus. You can even program an extension in the existing ETS application of the master. And since an extension has neither a bus coupling nor its own individual address, conventional KNX commissioning is not necessary for an extension.
