PHOSCON - Raspberry Pi Zigbee RaspBee II Universal Gateway

The RaspBee II turns the Raspberry Pi into a universal Zigbee gateway. Thanks to its small size, it fits into standard Raspberry Pi cases.

Works without cloud

No registration needed. Local control of devices, without Internet. All data, like the state of lights, sensors and switches stay in the local network.

Compatibility

The Phoscon solution is compatible with a wide range of lights, switches and sensors from Philips Hue, IKEA TRÅDFRI, Xiaomi Aqara, OSRAM SMART+, Busch-Jaeger, GIRA, JUNG, Paulmann and Paul Neuhaus.

RTC real time clock

Due to the fact that the Raspberry Pi does not have RTC, the system time may differ significantly from the actual time after a power or internet failure. Automations such as for example arming the alarm system from midnight are then carried out at the wrong time. The RaspBee II's built-in battery-powered RTC always guarantees the correct time.

Home Automation Systems

The RaspBee II has been integrated into the most popular systems for the smart home by the community (Jeedom, Domoticz, Home Assistant, FHEM, openHAB, Node-RED, ...).

The powerful integration allows for interesting automations and functions. For example, any Zigbee device can be used with HomeKit through Homebridge-hue.

Signal range

Thanks to its power amplifier, the RaspBee II has an exceptional range. This allows the signal to pass through 2 to 3 rooms or floors, depending on the type of construction. More distant devices are connected via the Zigbee Mesh network. In this network, all mains powered Zigbee devices, such as lights and outlets, act as repeaters and can carry the signal.
