The SMLIGHT SLZB-06M represents a Zigbee to Ethernet/USB/WiFi adapter with POE support, pre-flashed and ready to use. It can be used as a Zigbee 3.0 gateway on open source automation platforms such as Zigbee2MQTT, Home Assistant, ZHA.

It works in two modes - LAN and USB, with the ability to change modes via firmware or a button. It allows the addition of multiple Zigbee coordinators to a server, providing extended coverage and the ability to integrate them into a single Home Assistant instance.

The device can be powered via POE or Type-C, and a microUSB-TypeC adapter is included in the package.

The Zigbee EFR32MG21 SoC features a +20dB boost, with a +5dB antenna included. Remote updates are possible for the EFR32MG21 and ESP32, without the need for physical access to the device.

In addition, the ESP32 can be flashed via USB, with a built-in auto-flash function. To secure the connection to the web interface, a password can be configured.
