The Zigbee soil moisture sensor is a smart device designed to automate irrigation and monitor the conditions of your garden or plants. Compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant, Tuya and Smart Life platforms, it enables voice control and remote management via a mobile app.

This sensor measures both soil moisture and temperature, offering an accuracy of ±0.5°C for temperature and ±5% for humidity.

Operating on the Zigbee 3.0 protocol, it requires a Zigbee gateway for integration into your home automation ecosystem. Powered by two AAA batteries (not included), it can remain on standby for over 12 months with a current consumption of 20uA or less.

It withstands operating temperatures from -10 to 55°C and humidity up to 99%.

The sensor offers many useful features: it sends an alert via the app when a lack of water is detected, can be linked to an automatic watering system to activate irrigation according to soil conditions, and allows you to choose between Fahrenheit and Celsius units of measurement.

It is also compatible with Zigbee2MQTT for advanced integration.

This device is suitable for different environments such as flower pots, greenhouses, farmland, vegetable fields or lawns. It also includes practical functions such as family sharing and group control, to manage several sensors simultaneously.
